Before you call your bank, let us fix it.
If a charge on your statement does not look right, or your order is not what you expected, this page is the fastest way through it. A bank dispute is decided by people who only see one line on a statement. We can see the actual order.
This opens your email app with the details already laid out. Fill in what you know and send it. No account, no form, no ticket number to keep track of.
Do not recognize a charge?
On your bank or card statement, our charges appear as:
GREEN PEACEYour bank may shorten it or add a short code from the payment processor next to it, so the line on your statement may not read exactly like the brand name on the site. Green Peace is operated by ECOM PAPER PRODUCTION LLC. If that is the descriptor in front of you, the charge comes from an order placed on green-peace.co. If it is still not yours, tell us and we refund it.
Every order is a single charge
If you see a charge from us, it belongs to one order placed on green-peace.co. Nothing renews and nothing repeats.
Every Green Peace order is a one-time purchase. You pay once, at checkout, for what is in your cart, through Shopify's secure checkout. There are no subscriptions, no memberships and no recurring charges, and we never charge your payment method again unless you place a new order.
If the amount does not match an order you remember, send us the date, the amount and the last four digits of the card. We match it against our records and tell you plainly what it is.
If it is not yours, we refund it. You do not need to involve your bank to get there.
Ordered something and changed your mind? Write to us with the order number. Before fulfillment we can usually cancel it outright, and once it arrives the 30 day guarantee applies. Both are faster than a dispute and neither locks your order while a case sits open. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.
An unknown charge is almost always one of these three
Most charges people report as unknown turn out to be perfectly ordinary once you see what happened.
Someone else used the card
Partners, family members and roommates order more often than people expect. Ask at home before you file anything.
The descriptor looked unfamiliar
You remember the brand, not the billing line. GREEN PEACE is us, and your bank may show it slightly differently from how you remember the purchase.
A pending authorization hold
A failed or repeated checkout attempt can leave a temporary hold that looks like a second charge, then clears on its own. Only one payment per order is ever captured.
Pick the situation that matches yours
Each one opens an email with the exact details we need, so it gets resolved on the first reply instead of the fourth.
I want to cancel an order I just placed
Write as soon as you can with the order number. Before fulfillment we can usually cancel it in full.
Cancel my orderI do not recognize this charge
We match it against our records and tell you exactly what it is. If it is not yours, we refund it.
Look up this chargeI want a refund
30 days from delivery, opened bottles included, and we pay the return shipping.
Request a refundIt says delivered and it is not here
The most common one we see. Run the checks below first, then send this.
Report it missingDamaged, melted or wrong item
Replacement or refund, whichever you prefer, at no cost to you.
Report a problemSomething else entirely
Order changes, address corrections, questions about a formula, anything.
Write to usIt says delivered and it is not here
This is the single most common thing people dispute with their bank, and in most cases the package is closer than it looks. Two minutes of checking usually ends it.
- Ask everyone else at the address. Partners, family and roommates pick up parcels and forget to mention it.
- Look in the less obvious spots: behind planters, side doors, porch furniture, the mailroom, the lobby desk, the garage.
- Ask the neighbours either side. Carriers leave packages next door far more often than they note it.
- Give it a little longer. Packages get scanned as delivered slightly ahead of the actual drop more often than you would think.
If you have been through all four and it still has not turned up, write to us. We will resolve it with you rather than leaving you to argue with the carrier on your own.
What you are entitled to
Worth reading before you decide a dispute is the faster route, because it usually is not.
One order, one charge
Every order is paid once at checkout. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again unless you place a new order.
30 days from delivery
Every product, every order. Not from purchase, from the day it lands with you.
Opened bottles accepted
You cannot judge a supplement without taking it, so refusing opened returns would make the guarantee meaningless.
We pay the return shipping
A prepaid label comes with our reply. Nothing out of your pocket to send an order back.
Back to the card you paid with
Not store credit. Once we issue it, your bank takes its own few days to display it, and that step is on their side.
What happens when you write
A person reads it
Not a bot and not a ticket queue. It reaches the team that can actually act on your order.
We identify the charge
We match the date, the amount and the last four digits against our records and tell you plainly what it is.
We settle it
If the charge is not yours, we refund it. If it is an order you no longer want and it has not shipped, we cancel it. If it is yours and you are not happy, the 30 day guarantee applies.
Two ways to handle this
Both are open to you. They do not lead to the same place.
Writing to us
- Handled by the team that has your actual order in front of them
- You choose the outcome: a replacement, a partial refund or the full amount back
- We can cancel an order that has not shipped yet in the same conversation
- Nothing on your order gets frozen while we look at it
- You can change your mind at any point
A bank dispute
- Decided by people who only see one line on a statement
- One outcome, and it is decided without you in the room
- It cannot send a replacement or fix an address, only argue about the money
- The order is locked while the case sits open
- Hard to withdraw once it has been filed
If you have already filed a dispute with your bank, write to us anyway. We would still rather fix the underlying problem than argue about it through a third party.
